Harish Parihar
Hey there!! My name is Harish S. Parihar; and I am an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Pharmacy. I am a citizen of India and hail from Bombay, the commercial capitol of India. I received my Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from the University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT) in 1999. Subsequently, I did my doctoral studies at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, in Medicinal Chemistry under the mentorship of Dr. Ronald A. Hill.
I always wanted to get involved with the professional organization in my field, and I got this opportunity by joining the YCC of the ACS. I am glad to be a part of YCC and enjoy working with a great bunch of people!
Apart from drug design and medicinal chemistry my interests are traveling, watching movies, and reading and writing poetry. I usually write romantic poems.
