Jamila Greene

Hello! My name is Jamila Greene. As a Younger Chemist Committee member, I am on the Communications sub-committee and Society, Interface and Outreach sub-committee. I truly enjoy working with the committee members to help coordinate programs to identify concerns of younger chemists. Currently, I am a physical and atmospheric chemistry graduate student at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Although I live in the cooold Midwest I will always claim my “southern roots” in Charlotte, North Carolina. I received my B.S. in Chemistry from Hampton University, a Historically Black College, in Hampton, Virginia. It was this institution that first introduced me to the American Chemical Society.
