Steve Canham
Hi, I’m Steve Canham. I grew up in Denver, Colorado where my interest in chemistry began as a sophomore in high school participating in several regional/state science fairs. It was here I discovered the love of research to solve problems and promote better living through chemistry. I attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated in 2006 with my B.S. in Chemistry. As an undergraduate I was involved heavily in our Student Affiliate chapter and was also interested in curriculum design and chemical education for the undergraduate courses. I am currently working towards a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine, where my interests lie in organic synthesis and methodology. When not mixing things up in lab, I enjoy skiing and biking!
