National Chemistry Week Poster Contest!! The Philadelphia Local Section of the American Chemical Society is sponsoring a poster contest for students Kindergarten - Grade 12.
Students are invited to create a poster that celebrates the theme "It's Elemental". The poster should be fun, motivational and inspire students to discover the connections between chemistry and sports.
Local Section Prizes...Prizes...Prizes...Prizes !
First Place in each of the following grade categories:
- K - 2nd
- 3rd - 4th
- 5th - 8th
- 9th - 12th
Will receive the ACS Tee Shirt of their choice!
Teacher winners will receive - a Periodic Table of the Elephants poster!
Local winners will also be entered in the National Contest and be eligible for additional prizes at the National Level!
DEADLINE TO ENTER: POSTERS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO NCW LOCAL COORDINATOR and RECEIVED BY 10/08/09
