The 2007 Science Cafe was a multi-level "walk on the wild side" event at Spoon River College. Spoon River College and the Illinois Heartland ACS partnered to bring Science Café to central Illinois. This unique event was modified to serve the Spoon River College community and the public. Participants were encouraged to eat an early lunch (11 am) or late lunch (1 pm) and join us at the Engle Conference Center for discussions on the environment and natural resources led by local scientists. At 2 pm, there was a guided walking tour of the Prairie Project. Prof. Stacy Swanson organized the Science Café. Funding was provided by the national American Chemical Society. Over 75 people attended.
