The American Chemical Society co-sponsors
high school chemistry clubs that encourage
the study of chemistry, participation
in chemistry activities, and promote
a commitment to chemistry as a profession.
The American Chemical Society Orange
County Section wants to encourage high
school students and their teachers
to participate in chemistry activities
to further interest in science, science
education, and to enhance student’s
knowledge about chemistry. Teachers
who are members of ACS, or affiliates
of the local section, and who sponsor
a chemistry club on their campus may
apply for a $50 grant to help promote
and encourage their activities and
facilitate their association with the
national ACS High School Chemistry
Clubs.
