Welcome to the 40th Western Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society, hosted by the Orange County Section. We know that you will enjoy your time in this beautiful and exciting part of the West.

The TECHNICAL PROGRAM encompasses the latest research in a wide range of topics and an Exhibition presents the latest advances in chemical and biochemical products that allow research to move forward quickly.

Advance Registration has closed, but please download the On-Site Registration Form and bring a completed version to the Registration Desk when you arrive for more rapid check in.

Plan your meeting schedule using the menus on the Technical Program page by viewing the full program and abstracts. Each day is filled with exciting and useful information. Special Events will enhance your experience, and the Workshops and Short Course will provide additional professional and personal development opportunities. Educators’ Day on Sunday is a full program for chemistry teachers prior to the 4-6 pm Opening Reception, the start of the Exhibition, and Conversations with Eminent Scientists, organized by the Student Affiliates.

Don’t forget to make your Hotel Accommodations at the special discount rate and enjoy the proximity to Disneyland (frequent shuttle buses), the Pacific Ocean (a short drive away) and many local attractions, such as the Discovery Center and the Bowers Museum.
