National Chemistry Week 2009 will be at the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park, 1801 East Chestnut Avenue, Santa Ana Sunday, October 11, 2009 Zoo hours: 10 AM – 4 PM Science exhibits: 10 AM – 3 PM Rudy’s Radical Science Show: 12:30 PM Admission to the zoo is $8 for adults and $5 for kids. It includes all the regular zoo exhibits as well as the science spectacular. Admission to the zoo is free for residents of the Santa Ana Federal Empowerment Zone (proof of residency, such as a utility bill, required.) This year’s theme: Chemistry - It's Elemental! College students from all over the Southland will be at the zoo to assist kids with hands-on science.
