The links on the bar at the left will lead you through the various activities of the Nashville Section of the American Chemical Society.
Our local section meetings are held monthly during the period September to May and, while primarily for members of the Society, we welcome anyone interested in the chemical sciences.
Section members who have active e-mail addresses should send a message to the Secretary of the section for inclusion on our electronic mailing list for notification of late breaking events and meeting notices.

New and Notable!!

The Nashville Section won Outstanding Local Section in the 2009 ChemLuminaries presented at the Fall 2009 National Meeting in Washington DC. We also won the Presidential Award for Government Affairs because of TN-GAC. See the councilor's report here.

The recently formed Tennessee Government Affairs Committee (TN-GAC) will provide a unified voice and leadership to effectively engage the ACS membership within the state of Tennessee to drive support of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education.
