2008 Local Section Chairs-Elect Invited to the first ACS Leadership Institute

If you have been elected the chair-elect of your local section for 2008, you are invited to attend the ACS Leadership Institute, which will be held in Dallas, TX, at the Intercontinental Hotel, January 25–27. You will have the opportunity to enroll in courses that are part of the new ACS Leadership Development System as well as attend sessions specifically designed for local section leaders in order to learn to manage your local section efficiently and effectively. Several other groups of ACS leaders—Board of Directors, division leaders, national committee chairs, younger chemists, regional meeting planners, and selected student affiliates—will also be in attendance, providing the opportunity to network with and learn from a diverse group of ACS leaders.
