The governing body of the section. It consists of the following section officers - Chairman, Chairman-Elect, Secretary-Treasurer, the immediate Past Chairman, the Section Councilor(s), the Section Alternate Councilor(s) and one member-at-large selected by the Chairman.

Membership (Brent Montgomery)

Three member committee tasked to promote retention of current members and recruitment of new members. The chairman ex officio is the Secretary-Treasure who selects additional members in concurrence with the Section Chairman.

Nominating (pending appointment)

Three member committee tasked to identify and recruit candidates for Section offices as well as to conduct the Section election. The chairman and other members are selected by the Section Chairman after consultation with the Executive Committee.

Program (Edie Banner)

Three member committee tasked with program planning and program and meeting implementation and hospitality for the following year. The chairman ex officio is the Chairman-Elect who selects additional members in concurrence with the Section Chairman.

Publicity (pending appointment)

Three member committee tasked with publicity, public affaires, and public relations for the section. The chairman and other members are selected by the Section Chairman.

Ad Hoc Committees

Awards (pending appointment)

Three member committee tasked to nominate and confer all awards given by the section including National, Regional, and Local Awards. The chairman and other members are selected by the Section Chairman.

National Chemistry Week (S.K. Airee)

Three member committee tasked to promote and encourage recognition of National Chemistry Week throughout the Section. The Section Coordinator shall serve as its chairman. There shall also be a Kentucky-Illinois area chairman and a Tennessee area chairman responsible for their respective geographical areas. The chairman and other members are selected by the Section Chairman.
