More than 30 members enjoyed a presentation of the history of wine making at the vineyard and how they make a fine wine. Organic Certified grapes are basket pressed immediately following harvesting and the juices are allowed to settle out. To retain the fruitiness, Shelburne Vineyard ferments slowly in a moderately cool environment. The presentation was followed by a wine, table grapes, and Cheese tasting.
