NCW Event - November 7th
Our annual NCW children’s event went very well this year. We hosted about 400 children, giving out 160 activity patches to boy and girl scouts. The News-Journal gave us a nice write-up in 55 Hours before the event, sent a reporter, and then published a captioned photograph on Sunday. The picture included Martha Hollomon’s daughter Rebecca. Look at www.Delawareonline.com under Photo Albums to see the seven pictures they posted. For next year, they offered to do a pre-event story highlighting an experiment children can do at home. Other local newspapers also posted or listed our event, and notices were distributed to local boy and girl scout organizations and to Boys and Girls Clubs.
