NERM 2005:  Sacred Heart University, Fairfield CT,  July 12 ‑ 17th, 2005

 

 

    The Western Connecticut ACS section will be hosting NERM in July 2005.

Our meeting will feature an exciting mix of research presentations from

industry, academia, and government facilities.  We also are planning special

sessions for high school and college teachers.  Special sessions are already

planned in Nutritional Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, The

Teaching of Organic Chemistry, etc.

    We need symposia leaders for the technical sessions.  Has it been a

while since you got others from your field together in our region?  Now is

the time!  We are looking for people to help organize sessions as small as

one morning or over multiple days.  If you have an idea for a special

session, please contact the NERM 2005 Program Co‑Chairs, L. Kraig Steffen

(lsteffen@mail.fairfield.edu) or Matt Freeman (mfreeman@gfacademy.org) and

let us know.  Your only responsibility will be to work with colleagues to

fill your session(s) and to help run them.  Sacred Heart has excellent

meeting rooms with video projectors and laptop connections available in most

of them.
