The CVS award committee solicits nominations for the John S. Burlew Connecticut Valley Section Award to recognize an outstanding contribution(s) to chemistry. All members of the CVS are eligible. A nominee must have made an outstanding contribution to chemistry. The nominee must be a member of CVS and must not have received an award from ACS or other technical or scientific organizations for the same contribution(s).
Please make a nomination consisting of a short letter describing the nominee's qualifications, a chemistry vitae, and names and addresses of two references familiar with the nominee's cited contribution. Self nominations are encouraged. A request for further information regarding suitable nominees will be made, if necessary, to help the Committee in the final selection process.
