Neurogen has an immediate opening
for a senior Analytical Chemist in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analytical
methods development and validation for development candidates to support
transfer of such methods to a GMP facility in a timely fashion
- Preparation
of documents for regulatory filings and regulatory interactions
- Primary
responsibility for developing the Neurogen strategy for stage-appropriate
methods and analyses
- Assisting
in establishing greater in house development specific analytical
capabilities
Qualifications include:
- At
least 5-10 years experience with cGMP analytical method validation
- Must have experience with NCEs
- Experience
with regulatory filings
- Familiarity
with FDA guidelines for the validation of analytical procedures
- Ph.D.
in Analytical Chemistry with industrial experience in HPLC, spectroscopic
and wet chemical methods of pharmaceutical analysis are required.
- Good
communication and interpersonal skills as well as the demonstrated ability
to work as part of a team, as well as with a contract research
organization (CRO)
- Experience
in HPLC methods development, validation and stability testing
- General
laboratory skills and be thoroughly versed in wet chemical analyses.
