| A review of Pt(hkl) single crystal electrodes obtained by spontaneous deposition of such admetals as ruthenium, osmium and palladium will be presented. Both ex situ and in situ methods were used for the electrode surface characterization. Results from voltammetric oxidation of chemisorbed CO to clean sulfuric acid electrolyte under variable sweep rate conditions will be presented, and some conclusions as to the 2D transport rate of CO on such surfaces will be made. Methanol and formic acid oxidation rates on such or similar NM-NM surfaces will be shown. |
