Nanoporous and hetro structure thin films consisting of ionic polymers and positively charged titanium dioxide(TiO2) nanoparticles(7nm) were fabricated by layer-by-layer self assembly method(LBL-SA). First, the multilayers of poly(allylamine hydrochloride),(PAH) and poly(acrylic acid),(PAA) adjusted to pH7.5 and 3.5 with either HCl or NaOH were deposited onto silicon substrates. And the these films were immersed in acidic solution(pH 2.5) for 2min, and ultra pure water(pH 5.8~6.5) for several seconds to obtain high porous under layers. Subsequently hetro structure thin films of TiO2 nanoparticles and poly phosphoric(PPA) adjusted to pH 1.5 or 2.3 were deposited. Finally high nanoporous and hetro structure thin films of organic polyelectrolytes/inorganic TiO2 nanopaticles were successfully fabricated by layer-by-layer self assembly method. To analyze the properties of thin films, Atomic force microscopy(AFM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) were measured.
