Indianapolis
Indianapolis is the nation’s twelfth largest city and has a metro-area population of nearly 1.6 million people. Located in the geographic center of Indiana, the city serves as the political capital of the state as well as the center for economic, entrepreneurial, cultural and sports activities.

Indianapolis is home to the two largest single-day sporting events in the world — the Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400, plus the US Grand Prix, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and Indianapolis Indians. Other highlights include The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art, Indiana State Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions and the Indianapolis Zoo.
IUPUI
Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) is a major, urban university with a current enrollment of about 30,000 students. IUPUI is the most comprehensive university in the state with professional programs in medicine, dentistry, nursing, and law, as well as both undergraduate and graduate programs in the arts, science, engineering, and technology.
2004 CRM
In 1991, the last Central Regional Meeting was held in Indianapolis at IUPUI as a joint meeting with the Great Lakes Region, and attracted over 1500 scientists from across the country.
 
We again will present an a diverse array of technical and professional programming, including technical sessions in:
