Student Affiliate (SAACS) chapters or Chemistry Clubs are located on several of the university/college campuses in the Alabama local section region. Membership in a SAACS chapter or Chemistry Club is an excellent way to build your skills as a professional chemist. These groups hold monthly meetings and engage in projects on their respective campuses to build an awareness of the value of chemistry and its positive impact on everyday life. These chapters are welcome to post information on the Alabama Local Section website or request that a link be created to their website.
