History of the Alabama Section

In 1977, M. Virginia Jackson wrote and the Alabama Section had printed a history of the Alabama Section that covered the time period 1913 - 1977. The American Chemical Society Council approved the request to form the Alabama Section on March 24, 1913 and made it the fifth local section to be formed in the south.
