The Blue Ridge Chemist
The Blue Ridge Chemist is the official newsletter of the Virginia Blue Ridge Section of the American Chemical Society. The editor is Dr. Vernon Miller, Professor of Chemistry, Roanoke College, Salem, Virginia. It is published eight times during the year, January - May and September - November. It is available online as a PDF file and may be read online or printed off by using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Reader may be downloaded to your computer by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
The editor, Vern Miller, was on sabbitical for the school year 2000-2001 and someone else filled in as editor for him. Unfortunately, the newsletter was not being published in a format that could be converted to a PDF file or otherwise be posted on the website. Vern returned to Roanoke College in the fall of 2001 and resumed his editor position so all of the newsletters since then are posted on this website.
