Maryann Tung of St. Mary's Academy won the Section's PICA award for Outstanding Applied or Practical Chemistry Project for her research on the "Integration of CdS-sensitized nanobelts on a ZnO nanowire array in solar cells".  Her mentor was Prof. Jun Jiao of Portland State University.
