Unilever
Award for Outstanding Graduate Research in Polymer Chemistry -
The Polymer Education Committee (POLYED) of the ACS Divisions of Polymer
Chemistry and of Polymeric Sciences and Engineering annually awards the
Unilever Award for Outstanding Graduate Research in Polymer Chemistry.
The award recognizes a recent Ph.D. graduate who has completed the most
outstanding thesis in the design, synthesis and physical chemistry of polymers.
The award is sponsored by the Unilever Company, a global manufacturer of
consumer products, foods and specialty chemicals.
The
ICI Student Award in Applied Polymer Science established by ICI
PLC to promote graduate research in polymer science.
Ford Graduate Student Research Award - PMSE is pleased to announce a new award sponsored
by the Ford Motor Company, which will provide $500.00 of partial travel
support to graduate student women or under-represented minority men (Black,
Hispanic or Native American) to attend and present their research at the
National ACS Meetings. Four awards will be made yearly, two at each of
the National ACS Meetings. Awards will be made competitively among those
students who have applied for the award and who have concurrently submitted
papers to the PMSE program.
The
American Chemical Society Award for Creative Invention - recognizes
individual inventors for successful applications of research in chemistry
and/or chemical engineering which contribute to the material prosperity
and happiness of people.
