UCO SAACS Chapter Receives Commendable Award The ACS Student Affiliates Chapter at the University of Central Oklahoma received a Commendable Chapter award for its activities during the 2006-2007 school year. Student officers that year were Paul Jordan (President), Christina Highley (Vice President), Adam Imel (Treasurer), Heather Tournear (Secretary), and Michael Henderson (Senator). Chapter sponsors are Dr. Michael Ferguson and Dr. Dallas New. The award was presented to the chapter at the Spring ACS Meeting in New Orleans.
Moore High School Chemistry Club
Students of the Moore High School Chemistry Club model their new t-shirts donated to the club by the American Chemical Society. Mrs. Valerie Ferguson is the club sponsor.
