National Chemistry Week (NCW) is an outreach program of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Office of Community Activities that is designed to enhance public awareness of the contributions chemistry makes to society and our everyday lives.

    For more information see:  http://www.acs.org/ncw/

The biggest event sponsored by the Oklahoma Section is the combination of displays, demonstrations and shows presented at one of the local shopping malls in the Oklahoma City area.  Students from area Colleges and Universities and a few high schools set up tables loaded with chemical activities for the public centered around the year's theme".
