The Northeast Georgia Section (NEGS) covers 26 counties in Northeast Georgia . The section's home location is Athens , Georgia , where there is the highest concentration of members. Members are from a multitude of chemical and related disciplines from academia, government and industry. NEGS also has a strong student affiliate section at The University of Georgia . If you are a chemist in the geographical region of NEGS, you need to be a member ACS and participate in our activities.
