RESPONSIBILITIES OF SECTION OFFICERS AND FUNCTIONS OF SECTION COMMITTEES

Fourth Edition, 1994 (Adapted for web site 7/97)

The purpose of this manual is to provide a guide for those who conduct the business and manage the affairs of the Midland Section. Its content is based on the experience of past officers and committee chairs. The format is similar to that of the first (1966), second (1974), and third (1987) editions.

This revision of the manual was prepared by a special committee approved by the Midland Section Board of Directors. The manual describes the current operation and procedures of the Midland Section; it should be changed in the future as circumstances warrant.
