Message from the Chair

Welcome to the American Chemical Society Division of Chemical Health and Safety (CHAS) web site. CHAS provides expertise in laboratory safety and chemical management and safe chemical work practices to the Society and the general public. To accomplish this mission, the Division:

maintains an online listserv for CHAS members to promote discussion and information sharing.

Check out the "News and Upcoming Events" section to see the Division's activities. The 2008 CHAS Annual Report is also available to review (in PDF format).

Think Safety Bracelets Now Available The ACS Committee on Chemical Safety has developed a "Think Safety" bracelet which is now available from the ACS on line web store. Packages of 10 are $12.50.
