Complete all requirements for the Chemistry Merit Badge in a two-session workshop. The first session includes laboratory experience on October 13, 2007. Choose either the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn or Oakton Community College in the Northwest suburbs. The first session on October 13 is from 9 a.m. to noon. The second session will be held on October 20, 2007 in the morning during Chemistry Week located in Chicago. It is necessary to complete both session for this merit badge. The second session will include an opportunity to talk to industrial chemists as well as completing the remaining requirements. Instructions prior to the workshop will be sent 4 weeks in advance to each scout registered. There are a limited number of scouts allowed at either location so please register early. Deadline for registration is October 8.
