Research Homepage

Fluorescent analogs of the ascidian metabolites didemnin A and tamandarin A were synthesized to investigate the chemical defense mechanisms of tunicates of the family Didemnidae. These derivatives provided an ideal tool to conduct short term studies of predator-prey relationships between fish and larvae.
