The first annual Chemistry Department Chili Cook-off Tailgate was a big success. Over 60 people attended on this beautiful fall football Saturday. I'd like to thank Professor Mary Beth Williams, Exygen President Rick Grazzini and graduate students Shawn Kucera, Terry D'Onofrio, and Denis Bergeron for providing the chili and Shawn, Nick Hartman and Heather Agnew for helping with the tailgate setup and cleanup.

Attendees/taste testers voted as follows: 1st Place Denis Bergeron ($30) 2nd Place Mary Beth Williams ($20) 3rd Place Shawn Kucera ($10) 3.5 Place Terry D'Onofrio ($5.31 - the money stuffed in the vote containers!)

ACS members of the Central Pennsylvania Section of the ACS provided the prize money and funded this event via their dues dollars and we thank you all. Hope to see you at the second annual chili cook-off tailgate next fall!
